All Western saddles come complete with girth, swinging fenders (available in different lengths) and aluminum stirrups and are available in brown, black or natural. All saddle trees are steel reinforced polyurethane.

• Cliff Wade

  Sizes available: 15” and 16 ½ “
  Approx. Weight: 16-18kg
  Purpose: Full fledged roping saddle, suitable for most western disciplines and pleasure riding.
  Description: A roper true to the traditional cliff wade. It is low set, sporting a slick fork, universal bars that fit most horses, a wide gullet with good wither clearance, drop down D rigging, latigos with a western wool girth and back cinch. Very comfortable for horse and rider. Also available in a light weight version with in-skirt rigging.

  

• FC Roper

  Sizes available: 15” and 16“
  Approx. Weight: 14-16kg
  Purpose: Full fledged roping saddle.
  Description: High cantled saddle, bars suitable for wide horses. It has a wide gullet with good wither clearance, drop down D rigging, latigos with a western wool girth and back cinch.

  

• Ultimate-X Roper

  Sizes available: 15”, 16” and 17”
  Approx. Weight: 12-14kg
  Purpose: Full fledged roping saddle, suitable for breaking in horses, comfortable trail saddle.
  Description: A cross between a western roper and Australian stock saddle. Poleys and wide cantle provide a secure and comfortable seat. It has universal bars that fit most horses, a wide gullet with good wither clearance, in-skirt rigging, latigos with a western wool girth and back cinch.

  

• Kangaroo

  Sizes available: 15”, 16” and 17”
  Approx. Weight: 12-14kg
  Purpose: Trail riding, cutting, barrel racing and backing horses. Not suitable for roping.
  Description: Essentially the same saddle as the Ultimate-x Roper but with a thinner sloped horn giving the rider a secure hand hold.

  

• Junior Roper

  Sizes available: 14 ½ ”
  Approx. Weight: 10kg
  Purpose: Roping and pleasure riding.
  Description: Small roping saddle for children and smaller built adults. Bars suitable for Arabs and Thoroughbreds. It has drop down D rigging, latigos with a western wool girth and back cinch.

  

• Kiddies' Western

  Sizes available: 12 ½ ”
  Approx. Weight: 6kg
  Purpose: General western riding for children up to about 10yrs.
  Description: Small saddle for the little ones. High cantle creates a secure seat. Suitable for use on horses and ponies. It has drop down D rigging, latigos with a western wool girth.

  

• Herdsman

  Sizes available: 15” and 16 ½ “ 
  Approx. Weight: 8-9kg
  Purpose: General farm use, roping and leisure.
  Description: A very basic saddle. It has a half seat, 80mm stirrup straps with no fenders. The tree is not covered. Fashioned on the Mexican Vaquero style (also known as charro).

  

• Vaquero

  Sizes available: 15” and 16 ½ “ 
  Approx. Weight: 8-9kg
  Purpose: General farm use, roping, leisure and show.
  Description: Essentially the same saddle as the Herdsman but tree is covered with leather and finished with conchos in the charro tradition.

  

• Mochilla for Vaquero / Herdsman

  Sizes available: 15” and 16 ½ “
  Approx. Weight: 4kg
  Purpose: Turns a fairly plain saddle into something special.
  Description: Saddle cover with saddle bags.

  

• Ol’ Timer

  Sizes available: 16”
  Approx. Weight: 16kg
  Purpose: Show, reigning, pleasure riding and occasional roping. 
  Description: Based on styles popular during the late 1800s. Has a slim sloped horn, slick fork, high cantle, half seat, sam stag rigging, latigos with a western wool girth and wool back cinch.

  

• Reiner

  Size: 16”
  Approx. Weight: 13.5kg
  Purpose: Reigning, show, pleasure, not suitable for roping.
  Description: It has a small reining horn, in-skirt rigging, latigos with a western woll girth. It is available in different bars to suit your horse. The following options are available:
  • Cheyenne roll or cantle binding
  • padded seat
  • carving / tooling according to taste / pocket
  • pewter corner plates
  • back cinch

  

• Western Pleasure

  Size: 16”
  Approx. Weight: 13kg
  Purpose: Western pleasure, trail.
  Description: A high cantled saddle with an undercut swell, square skirts with in-skirt rigging, latigos with a western wool girth and a back cinch. The bars are suitable for Arabs and narrow horses.

  

• Western Rider

  Size: 16”
  Approx. Weight: 10kg
  Purpose: Endurance, trail.
  Description: Essentially the Endurance saddle with a horn and undercut swell. Back billets and back cinch are optional.

  

• Custom Roper

  All our saddles can be customized to the client’s needs. Custom saddles on imported trees are also undertaken.

  

• Custom carved Roper

  Carving and tooling can be done on most saddles to the customer’s taste.
